Heartland Hideaway had an amazing time at the schooling show in Norco! Gia competed Billie, Penny, and a friend's horse named Charlie! Jessica competed some jumping classes on Billie, and Ripley showed Penny and Stella. Everyone did their best, had fun, and helped one another. Billie has come so far, being able to adapt to new environments to quickly. The show was an awesome experience for the horses to travel to a new area, compete, and prepare for the upcoming Eventing shows we have planned for this year. At Heartland Hideaway we enjoy seeing our horses and friends/clients have so much fun and their hard efforts paid off. 

Do you take your horse/s out for trail rides? There are so many benefits to doing so. Trail riding gives your horse an opportunity to relax, enjoy themself, and truly feel like a horse. Arena time is definitely important and can certainly be enjoyable, however it's important to understand that horses need time to themselves. We are back from camping! It was an amazing trip with the horses Billie, Finn, Karma, Sade, and Arei! Family friends brought their horses and we got to ride on many different beautiful trails. We even got to ride in the snow!
